I'm moving to Portland early next year. Queer-owned, fifteen years in, and about to be based in the region I'm photographing — from Mt. Rainier down through the Oregon Cascades, and increasingly everywhere in between.
How this works
Logistics handled. You, just present.
I'm not there to direct you into poses. I'm there to handle the planning, blend into the background, and let you actually be with each other instead of performing for a camera.
Permits, timeline, location scouting, packing list — all included, every booking. You don't need to know the PNW. I'll do the research and tell you exactly what to expect, the same way I do for every location I work in.
What it costs
One price list, wherever you are.
I don't charge differently by region. What changes with geography is how far the travel included in a package reaches, not the number on it. Full pricing lives on the service pages.
Elopements & Small Weddings
From $2,100
Two to seven hours, one photographer, planning-heavy. Covers courthouse ceremonies and small weddings with guests, not just couples on their own. See all five packages →

Multnomah County, King County, or wherever you're signing the paperwork. I show up as coordinator and guide, not just a photographer with a camera. See the packages →
Every booking includes planning and timeline support, location scouting, permit research, and unlimited calls and texts between now and your date. That part doesn't change by package.

Some of this region I know. Some of it I'm still learning.
I'd rather tell you which is which than pretend otherwise. Some of these I've photographed. Some I've scouted on foot but haven't shot yet. And a couple I'm still reading about, which I'll say plainly rather than dress up.

The Cascade Lakes above Bend. No permit needed for a session, but you do need a Northwest Forest Pass, which you can buy on the way in. Get there before sunrise and you'll likely have it to yourselves.
Columbia River Gorge Scouted
Enormous, and full of waterfalls — if that's the picture in your head, there's one here that fits it. Busier than Central Oregon because it's Portland's backyard. In summer you have to reserve a timed parking slot for Multnomah Falls, so it needs planning rather than spontaneity.
Cannon Beach Scouted
Several different lookouts, so whether you want sand underfoot or the hills and trees above it, there's a spot. The town is small and quaint with real places to go celebrate afterward. Parking is easy at most of it. Bathrooms are not.
Olympic Peninsula Researching
Rainforest, coastline, and mountains within a couple of hours of each other. Scouting it properly before I put a guide up.
Seattle & Puget Sound Researching
Courthouse energy, or a short drive to somewhere green. Open to whatever your day calls for.

Questions about booking PNW.
Do you charge travel fees on top?
Not within the travel each package already covers, and that reach is measured from where I'm based — Portland, from early 2027. The price you see is the price you pay. If your day is somewhere further out, I'll quote it before you book rather than surprise you later.
Are you actually based here?
From early 2027, yes — Portland. Before that I'm splitting time and travelling up regularly, so a 2027 date is no different for me than a local one. If your date is before the move, say so and we'll work out the logistics together.
Have you actually photographed in the PNW?
Yes. Mt. Rainier, where I have a full write-up. Portland, including a session at Hoyt Arboretum. And the Cascade Lakes above Bend. The Olympic Peninsula and the Seattle area are still newer to me, and I'll say so directly rather than pretend otherwise — I research every location thoroughly before I show up, the same way I do anywhere I haven't worked before.
Can we do a courthouse ceremony in the PNW?
Absolutely. Multnomah County in Portland, King County in Seattle, or wherever you're signing. Courthouse packages start at $1,000 and are priced separately from elopements. Worth knowing Oregon requires two witnesses where California only needs one — I'll flag that early if it applies to you.
